Hi
New installation on Windows 10 - TheocBase Version 2018-11-0
Cannot sync via Dropbox because of the error: This Device doesnt support OpenSSL. Make sure that OpenSSL is installed.
I installed open SSL from this link : https://slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html
Doesn't work.
I searched and tried solutions from other posts of this forum but no success.
I noticed that you sent a solution to a user. Please could you help me?
thank you very much for your kind assistance
Bye
Andrea
Arod17, this question is not related to this thread.
Also your question has been posed and answered several times now, you can see two of these questions right on the front page of the forum. So if this is still a question, you would have to explain which part of the solution did not work for you.

I have this Problem "This device doesn´t support SSL" Please help me
I can confirm that the standard installation works fine on Win7 Home 32-bit and Win10 Pro (64bit), but different libeay and ssleay dll's were needed for Win 7 Home 64-bit (only those 2).
I have no idea about Linux and Mac systems, as I have not tried those.
Feitosa, do you 'like' your own comments by default?!

It is bedtime! I will look at the differences between my Win7 home 64 and Win 10 Pro tomorrow and report back here.

I get the impression, that the error message about the open SSL, does not mean the same in all computers.
I was working on a Win7 32-bit and the standard installation of TheocBase worked all right.
Then I upgraded to Win7 64-bit, and suddenly the standard installation wasn't enough. Fixing the ssleay and libeay worked for me. I know fixing those 2 worked for some others as well.
BUT one big question I do not get answered: I used the standard TheocBase installation on a professional Win10, and that one worked without any fixes.
I will have to analyse the differences in the dll's.... For now I attach the 2 dll that worked for me. (<1 MB)

In my case, ssleay and libeay were the problems, the ones you printed bold

Lista de DLL's com erro
OK .I see. One of the developers provided a link, that has two very small DLL. I will see what I can do, and try to put them here with a little instruction.

(Mensagem Google Translation)
Hello @Marc has not yet been able to provide the files because of the size (same file in .ZIP), the forum only allows files up to 2 MB or 5 2 MB files. In the case, these files, I make available through my personal Google Drive and for security reasons, I do not put the Drive link here in the forum to the public. It has no "secret". The files were selected from a version of TheocBase running perfectly, and I was able to identify which files were causing the OpenSSL error, and I was replacing them one by one until the problem was solved. Then I created a personal folder with the files that are working and replacing the existing ones, the program works normally. It may be interesting to forward to the developers these DLL files to fix the current version, I'll see how I can do this.
@Feitosa, since this is a public forum, it looks rather strange that you solve these things 'behind the scenes'. I think there are many people who would appreciate these files posted as zip here... (since there is no sensitive personal information involved)
