I have hacked WE-Schedule_1, see attached. It relies on having a custom meeting exception setup, for example "Convention". Note this is different from "Convention" exception which cancels all meetings that week. Then you can add convention programme to the public talk name, i.e. "Friday morning". There are a couple of hard coded values in Russian such as "Convention Video Programme", but once you generate a schedule it will be easy to and replace inside the .html file. It also handles CO visit, as that is also a type of exception.

      If you use TheocBase on a mobile device you can do the following to enter information for the convention:

1. Navigate to the correct week/weeks for the Convention.

2. Tap the three vertical dots, on my iPad and iPhone they're on the top right hand side.

3. Tap "Exceptions".

4. Tap where it says "No Exceptions".

5. Scroll to the bottom of the list where it says "Other Exception". Once selected, you can enter text on the line directly underneath "Other Exception". For example, the convention day and session. (Please see attached image)

6. Under the "Meeting Days" heading, you can select the meetings you will still have. My understanding is as well that we will still have the regularly scheduled meetings for the week, however the format for the Weekend Meeting will be changed. I'm sure that either the coordinator of the body of elders or one of the other elders could give you more detailed information on that.

worldwide, congregations will have the same schedule of attending the conference after the magazine. I think there should at least be a resource to put the magazine first.

Ah right, yes. I think the Exceptions feature allows you to define a week where meeting days are shifted or where one or both meetings are not happening at all. But a thourough modifcation of the meeting itself would be done deep within the software (so much I know, but I know nothing about code writing, I am afraid).

We made the planning known last week, and though we'd obviously have liked to have a real convention, I think the friends are really looking forward to this. Also branch suggested we 'meet' again virtually later in the day... 

It will be exactly the same over here, so now I understand this is probably going to be the case (almost) worldwide.

I am not sure if TB could be easily rewritten to accomodate this, but more importantly: if it can be done before we actually need it. So there is no way right now where you can make the 'talk' appear after the wt study. Or make the talk 'disappear' as the times are not right anyway.

You could define an extra 'talk theme' called Convention 2020 as a makeshift. Or even 6 themes like Convention 2020 Friday Morning, etc. I can't come up with anything better for now.
