Hello Brothers!

If possible I would like some help with the COMBO_1 Template. I managed to change the Date format to better reflect what U.S. residents are used to seeing. However, I am not able to show the Title "Outgoing Speakers" after the "Closing Song" for the "Weekend Meeting". I have attached a screenshot so you can see where it is missing. I have also attached the adjusted Template for any brothers who reside in the U.S. as well. It adjusts the Date format, but as you can see, one of the Titles is missing. Any assistance you can provide would be amazing.

On a side note, Song Titles are still not showing up in the iPadOS nor the iOS versions of TheocBase. They also do not appear in any of the printable schedules on the Mac version either. However, they do appear when viewing the home screen of TheocBase.

Thank you brothers so much for all of the work you have done in providing this excellent tool!

Steven,

to start with, you may want to rethink posting this info (names/place)  on a publicly accessible site. You don't need a login to see and copy the png.

You would normally not assign a speaker to go out and miss the CO talks. So I suspect this might be hardcoded, and it is just chance the outgoing speaker shows up at all.  Can you check if it the same in non-CO weeks?

Thank you so very much for the reminder about the PNG File Marc! Usually I try to be super careful about blocking people's names, I totally forgot.

The answer to your question is no, "Outgoing Speakers" does not show up on other weeks without the C.O. Oddly enough I was able to get it to show up for the first week of October only I believe, but it will not show up on any other weeks or months.

Basically if it does show, it does not repeat. If I can't get it figured out it's no big deal, I'm just happy to have it.

Thank you again for your reminder about the PNG File.

OK, and one more thing to be sure, this problem occurred even before you improved the date format?

Not that the date format itself should have anything to do with it, but one might unintentionally change something else in the process..

Well I wouldn't say I improved the Date but yes, I believe it was still doing that. If you go to the mobile version of TheocBase and try to "Print" the "COMBO_1" Schedule, you will see that only the first week shows "Outgoing Speakers".

Steven, if you open the template with a proper editor, you see there is a test in line 546 which says

#IF NOTEMPTY !PT_NO! AND !PTCOUNTER!=1#

If you remove the AND !PTCOUNTER!=1 bit (you are left with #IF NOTEMPTY !PT_NO!# it will show the title bar, BUT it will show over each speaker. Depending on paper size and number of outgoing speakers, it may not fit on one page anymore.

I was told that the ptcounter placeholder in the template in some way is not valid in the updated programme code. Or somethink like that... so that is under investigation, but removing that bit is the only thing I can think of.

Remember that you may not be able to save the modified template just like that because the folder that it is in may be protected. So store it under a new name, then move it to the templates folder.

Thank you for your help Marc, I appreciate the suggestion! I'm not sure if having the Title Bar over every outgoing speaker would be ideal though so I think I'll just leave it and call it good.

The speakers show up underneath the Weekend Meeting information preceded by the Date, plus it includes the congregation name, the meeting time, and the speakers theme so it should be pretty self explanatory.

As I mentioned earlier, it wasn't a huge deal, but if it could be made to match the other Titles by adjusting the Template great. But if not that was fine too!

I was able to find the coding I needed in the support forum on TheocBase's website that did help me to adjust the Date Format  which was great! Thank you again for all of your help!

I guess I'd do the same, but then it is a matter of taste too. Hope they can fix the template some time
