With the changes being made starting in June for the M/W Bible Study Assignment switching from the fg to the new lffi publication, I was able to make the changes to the material to be used but I cannot make the changes to the studies that the student will be working on. Example for the week of June 07 the study is being changed from th study 11 to th study 15
Does someone know how to do this?
This can unfortunately only be done in the database. Make sure you have a database editor on hand like DB browser (see my signature below).
Open the database (which is called theocbase.sqlite) with the editor. Note: if you use the 'open database location' button in Settings to find the database, make sure you close TheocBase before making any changes in the database.
In the 2nd tab (Browse Data) choose the 'lmm_schedule' table from the dropdown. To find the items you need to change, type the date ('week of' so e.g. 2021-06-07) in the filter field of the 'date' column. To speed things up enter the talk id into the 'talk_id' filter field. The talk id for student bible studies in this table is 100. This narrows it down to one record, in which you now have to replace the 'study_number' value. Repeat for all records that need changing and save when closing.
If anyone uses a S-89 remember that this does not hold source material or study#, so the student needs to be notified separately.
If you use mail or use the copy assignment function to send assignments in a messaging app, the source material will be sent. So you may include a warning in the source material itself (e.g. Note: this is change from the workbook)

Excellent explanation! I previously downloaded de DB Browser and now it helps a lot for filling fields like Circuit Overseer talks, local need title talks, lesson changes. Thank you!
The only suffering is the S-89 sleeps with no lesson and material advice. Now I read about the copy assignment funtion. I'll dig into it. Thanks for your help!
As for S-89, that is true. They are apparently not designed to have that info (there is no source field e.g.), but essentially refer the student to the workbook.

I've been able to use DB Brower for sqlite to modify the study pionts through the end of June and save/write the changes. The corrections show up within TheocBase on my computer that the changes were made on but the changes are not showing up when syncing with the cloud for the other devices to see.
Am I missing something?

Synchronisation may be mostly smooth, but not always. Sometimes you have to try a few times. Or log mobile app off from Dropbox, then on again.
Just the other day my mobile wouldn't sync properly, and I found the syncfile was broken. (way too small). In that case (first make sure you have a copy of the theocbase.sqlite file on you desktop, just in case), in TB hover over the cloud symbol and click 'Delete cloud data'. After that is done, it will ask you if you want to synchronise: click Yes, for this will upload the data from that desktop to the cloud.

I must of had a brain fart... I would have normally done the clear cloud data first thing. but overlooked it. It took care of the problem
