Hi, I want the LaMM Overseer to be able to enter the Student Assignments and then export this data using the "DATA EXCHANGE->Export" functionality. I will then import the generated file and fill out the other meeting assignments.

As a proof of concept, I've installed TheocBase on my two computers. Both are seeded from the same database so the data is identical. I filled out one week's worth of data and exported from one computer and imported to the other computer. When I do that, the program duplicates records in the lmm_schedule table. I've attached screenshots to demonstrate this.

Can you fix this please. As a workaround, I could delete the duplicate rows in the table, but I really don't want to have to do this.

Thanks

Yes, I can only confirm this, I have seen this a long time ago. This also means I have no solution for you right now, and we just have to hope developers will have time to fix this. It doesn't look like the im/export function is being used a lot..

I do wonder why you exchange data this way though, and have obviously chosen not to use Dropbox.

For accessing the database my personal preference is http://sqlitebrowser.org/

For editing templates I now use https://code.visualstudio.com/

Thanks Marc. That seems to work well as a workaround. It might make sense to disable the other functionality.

Regards

Rob
