I browse every tables in DBBrowser / SQLite tool to find nothing....I guess the "usefor" column in the persons table is the key but I found none matches with others tables ....even in the Json file .....

Can you help me please ....we have a congregation restructuring and we nedd very quiclky this data !

I have worked out the value of every option, see picture. (some are skipped, presumably since some meeting items are no longer in use)

Now my math head tells me, there should be a fairly eas way to find out which are the terms (each a power of 2) that when added up form the particular integer, but my math head won't tell me which way exactly. I don't think I am going to bother either, as this would only be needed if used outside of TB.

Thank Marc & Samuel,

Finaly there is no simple solution...and no one seems to have the transcodification for the usefor column !!

Samul is right it shoud be binary encoded with minus and addition binary ....whatever is this is not possible to identifiy all combination...and the logic is not binary addition for some case....

Is this realy unimaginable to have the transcodification ? ....the code shoud have it !!

Thanks in advance

Stefan

If you say so ;-D. I have never delved into that, simply because so far I never needed to.

The bottom line is that this is what you need. It is quite straightforward if you plan to use the data in another instance of TB. Before posting the other comment I tried adding a new person, using the 'usefor' value of a random existing person, and all the corresponding boxes were ticked correctly.

If you need to 'translate' this info into everyday language because you are going to use the info hardcopy, or in other software, you'd have to complete the analysis you started. Going by your post, you'll do fine!

It looks like "usefor" is binary encoded.
For example...

     256 = ...0001 0000 0000 = Partner (Assistant)
16777472 = 0001 0000 0000 0000 0001 0000 0000 = Biblestudy + Partner (Assistant)

You need the value from the 'usefor' column. Somehow each tick-box in the person's dialogue represents a numerical value, which is then added, or multiplied (I do not think that actually) or whatever is done to them, so that each resulting value in that field represents one unique set of combinations.

Obviously this would only help if the new table is then used in another TB installation.
