We have entered the list of study points in the Life and Christian Ministry settings in Myanmar for our congregation, and we would like to share this list with other Myanmar congregations so that they do not have to manually re-enter the list.

Is there any way to export this list of study points, and then import into another database, possibly by running a special command?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Glenn

Open the sql database with DB Browser for SQLite (or similar software). (Database is in C - Users - [you] - AppData - Roaming - TheocBase. That is for windows. Otherwise search this forum for "where is the database")

Find the table called Studies (in DB Browser under the 2nd tab: Browse Data).

You may sort that table by Study Number

Make sure study_number and study_name columns are next to each other, preferably number left and name right. Select those columns. Hit Ctrl+C. Nothing seems to happen.

Open Excel and Ctrl+V into cell A1. You now have a nice table of studies plus numbers that you can share. (if you hadn't done the sorting in the databse table, you can obviously do it here). Make sure you got all studies! Depending on the settings ofr DB Browser the list may be divided over more than one page.

For accessing the database my personal preference is http://sqlitebrowser.org/

For editing templates I like to use http://brackets.io/
