Can there be a feature request to add the talk assignment (council point)  number on the midweek template, this can be an option template.

It is on the worksheet already! If the name of the lesson doesn't show (only numbers) make sure the names have actually been imported.

Or which template do you mean?

The way I have come to know the programme, this is probably not going to happen. But you can look at the other templates, and then tweak the one you want to change.

Reason why this would probably not happen is, in the latest LMM instructions it says 'the chairman will not announce the point of counsel'. That is hardly compatible with posting the lesson on the announcement board. Actually this is not new, it was in the be-book forever. I know this has not prevented some congregations from posting the lessons.

(Honestly there is a big advantage in not posting/announcing the counsel point. On a rare occasion this has saved the student and myself as counsellor some huge embarassment)

Hi

My Reason for this is that currently it is on the notice board and some students miss place their assigment slips.

Yeah, I know, we should fire some students ;-D

I suppose you could tweak the template to include the counsel points. Given the instructions, it is not likely this will come from the developers of this software, so one would have to do it himself. On the other hand, students could always just ask LMM overseer instead of looking at the announcement board. Answer is just as quick, especially with TheocBase on mobile device.

Thanks

They will now just have to adjust to the new format.

Check my other post, text message.

We currently send out talk reminders for the following week via text " so students pitch up for their assignments"

It would would be a really nice feature if it could send out text reminders just like emails.

We'll have to wait for the developers to pick that up. Or not. I am not on the team. It is tricky though. Where we live almost no one uses texts any more, just Whatsapp. I suppose that would again be a different thing to implement.

I agree that adding the counsel point number on the weekly schedule for the notice board does now make sense. The counsel point is already in the meeting workbook, so its not announcing something that isnt alread known, but would be useful to show.
