Hi Folks,

I'm trying out this program to help me with my new assignment as Public Talk Coordinator. I'm having trouble trying to bulk import speakers under the settings (Settings > Public Talks > Add congregations and speakers > + > Wizard

I'm pasting info in this format:

Speaker    Congregation    Phone    Public Talks
First Last Unknown 1112223456 1

However, everytime I try the program crashes, even with just 1 row (with a header row, without the header row it doesn't show any data at all.)

How can I get this to work? What is the proper format for the data?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your hard work on the program!

Your brother,

Jason

Not using TB for Public Talks myself I have never really noticed this particular wizard. I get the same results.

Not as an answer to your question, but as a workaround: import talk themes first (that is some work). Then in Settings, find the button called 'click to edit' under 'Weekend meeting' and add congregations. Then add speakers. Use the stylus button to check the talks each speaker has.

About the wizard issue, I'll contact one of the team.

OK, I got a response back, the team had to try and figure it out as well.

Data should be entered in the following format

<Congregation>TAB<Speaker's name>TAB<Phone>TAB<Public talk number(s comma separated)>

This is different from the displayed order (speaker - congregation). Mind the Tab! Put comma's between outline numbers.
After you entered these data, you'll be asked which order you entered the names in. Firs/Last name, or Last/First name. So make sure this part of the table is consistent.

Thanks my brothers for the responses, I just tested it, and it works!

Is there a column for email addresses available for bulk import? That would be very helpful.
