It looks like some languages haven't been updated by the respective teams, in which case TB falls back to English when printing.

To resolve issues in the midweek template MW-schedule_1.htm follow the directions below (if you use schedule_2, look for the corresponding items.

I have not influence on the translation teams, and I cannot solve this for all languages, but it is probably about 5 minutes work.

[EDIT When you have successfully adapted your schedule, you may want to post it, so others in your language can benefit. If you get stuck during adapting your schedule (so not before you tried, I am sorry...), we can plan a Teamviewer session and we'll do it together.] Send me a personal message for that, please (by clicking my name above, and pressing the double cloud symbol)

____________________________________________________________________________________

Find the template you use: possibly MW-schedule_1.htm. It is in the theocbase installation folder in the folder called templates.

Copy that file outside (!) of that folder. And rename it in such a way that you can recognise it like MW-schedule_1_IT.htm (that is what I would choose for Italian, for which the issue was first raised. Whatever you name it, make sure the ‘MW-‘ –part is kept intact).

Open it with a good editor: Brackets, Code Writer (within Windows 10) or Notepad++. (Do not use MS Word or Windows Notepad). Now you are going to replace a few items, make sure to replace the whole thing including opening and closing exlamation points.

In line 60 replace !CONGREGATION TITLE! with the name of your congragation
In line 62 replace !TITLE! with your local expression for ‘midweek meeting’
In lines 87 and 421 replace !SONG! with your local expression for song and !PRAYER! with your local expression for prayer (not the other ones in that line like e.g. prayer-name or song-no!!!)
In line 101 replace !OPENING! by your local expression for opening comments
In line 123 replace !GW! by your local expression for Treasures from God’s Word
In line 213 replace !FM! by your local expression for Apply yourself to the Field Ministry
In line 327 replace !CL! by your local expression for Living as Christians
In line 328 replace !SONG! by your local expression for song
In lines 387 and 411 replace !CONCLUSION! by your local expression for concluding comments

Close and save.

Now finally do not forget to move (or copy) the saved document to the original template folder (you cannot change a file within that folder, so that is why you had to move it out first)

Printing tags must not be translated! So if it is between brackets that say <don't translate this> then don't. So you would have to change that back.

So if this is all instances of 'study' in the target language you can find, it may be that some other translator has already translated correctly...

See example of what you are looking for in the source language

@Marc I confirm that It was now possible to translate the Keyword STUDY into LEZIONE. But I want to be sure that is the right thing to do because the translation word is between

<!-- Printing tag: -->LEZIONE<!-- Don't translate this. -->

So Just ask once more, is it correct to translate this segment that have the message "Don't translate this" ?

@Varazze  OK, right. I asked the WTI team to do something about it.

@Marc, I tryed to fix but this is the response of webtranslate

You can’t translate this segment.

You don’t have proofreading rights, so you don’t have the permission to edit a proofread translation.

So I can translate what don't have a translation but I can't edit proofreaded translation. If you know how to ask for this grant, let me know.

@Varezze, when you are invited to the translation, can you have a look at this question here: https://www.theocbase.net/support-forum/post/7150-traduzione-s-89-ita-dopo-aggiornamento-08-2020.html

As a translator you can fix that. In Webtranslateit in the search bar search 'study' and next to it, make sure you do not click 'all' (certianly not 'source') but 'target'. It will give you all Italian translations that have the word 'study'. Which may be only one...

[EDIT sorry I didn't explain. I ask you because I have no access to the Italian translation. Which is probably a good thing...]

Thank you very much @Marc. I've asked for the invitation.

@Varrazze Yes, I think it is in those files, but the contents of them are extracted from a server that hosts the translation.

You can get yourself invited through this link [link to webtranslateit removed, since it is no longer necessary in this thread, and some people search this site for links to enter. If needed it may be asked again. Tx Marc]

Thanks

Hi Everyone,

it is possible to help in fixing the resource file for italian language? I'm available to help in the provision of that resource file fixed but I need to know what is the editor to be used for.

I suppose the resource file is theocbase_it.qm but is a binary file so if you could give me some address, I will provide for the update of the translation, if appreciated.

Bye

Hi!

I have correctly translate the templates in Italian language, both WE and MW.

But I have a problem. On the app I still see the templates in English. How can I resolve?

Thank you so much

Look for the particular file Andres mentions. Make sure it searches hidden files and system files
