Since installing ver 2021.01.0 on my iMac running Mojave 10.14.16 there has been problems with the screen display of the Theocbase program (refer screenshot attached). The display is fine when first opened, but as soon as I change the date or any other input it changes to the appearance shown. I have reinstalled a couple of times but the problem persists. Can you help?

Hello Friends!

Sadly, I too am having issues after updating to ver 2021.01.0.

My windows computer runs Theocbase great. However, the app on my iPhone and some of the publishers' phones have stopped syncing correctly. I tried re-syncing and deleting the app and reinstalling it with no success.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Marcos

@Grant, the printing is all right, right? It seems Mac rendering is an issue. It is been reported before though, as you would have noticed, and they are working on it.

@Marcos, it doesn't sound sound like the same issue as the topic-starter's. How stopped syncing? As in 'doing nothing' or  as in 'causing errors'. Syncing is an issue when the cloud is being fed by an updated app, and then someone syncs with a lower version of TB. Especially with the mobile updates having been released a  few days later than the desktop ones, this time around, this could be an issue.

Thanks Marc, no I didn't see the Mac rendering issue being reported before, maybe under a different category, right?

All good though, as long as they are aware & are working on it.

Thanks again.

@Grant, printing works OK, right? In other words, it is only the computer interface acting up? If printing is bad, we would need to look into that

Just checked & printing is still excellent thank you @Marc (see attached). Just the screen rendering problem which only started with ver 2021.01.0

Ok, thanks. If you don't mind I sort of abused my moderator's privileges and took your screenprint down because of the names on it. You don't need a login to read this forum (as opposed to posting on it) and it looks like from time to time we have some unwanted visitors...

Yes, If the print is OK, the other thing under the known bug is 'expected' behaviour on some Mac devices. I am not a programmer, but they told me under the new compiling software that they need to use, a different choice apparently has to be made between native rendering and something I don't even remember.

Oooooh OK, thanks Marc. I deleted the other image too & will keep that security issue in mind for the future.

Hopefully the Mac rendering problem will be sorted soon, but in the meantime I have found that the screen rendering problem is not as bad on my Macbook as it is on my iMac. Still there, but not quite as difficult to read so I can will use my Macbook for scheduling in the meantime. Thanks again for your help.

Hi,

Since I installed the new version 2021.01.00 I have a problem that crash totally the application in Windows. However, in the older version, the problem does not exist, even with the same Database version.

What I noticed is when I choose a specific participant from the list, this participant has a historical list of all participations, but only one record of the list has a date but is not related with the participant, is empty.

Therefore, I would like to know how to remove this row from this historical list to keep the history and continue using it; otherwise, it is impossible to select it in any meeting assignment. Or do you know if this bug will be fixed in the next version?

The workaround is to create a new participant with the same name and delete the other one in the old version, but all the historical data will be lost and we don't want it.

Regards!!!!

@Kristian, I think this is a new topic, while the one you mention is being extensively discussed just a few posts under this one

In my personal case it has helped to remove all assignments directly from the database, so not just from the programme itself (see one of those posts) but that does not work in all cases. A fix is underway.
