Hi -

I'm using a MAC.  I made the mistake of making a username and password to open the app on my MAC desktop.  It tells me my username or password is wrong and wont let me open the app.  I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it and it knows i've created a password.  at this point im fine with starting over from scratch but i just need someway to be able to install it on my computer without it asking for a password.

is there a hidden file that doesn't uninstall that i need to remove so i can start fresh?

Thanks

The suggestion is to remove the database. But it sounds like you didn't do that, but reinstalled a saved one instead. So you put back the very file that is telling you to enter the username/password.

Now if you go back to the beginning of this thread, the situation was, that the TS didn't mind wanting to start from scratch. That is why the suggestion was to remove the database.

If you are not happy to start from scratch, you are talking about a very different situation. Read this: https://www.theocbase.net/support-forum/post/8103-dificuldade-em-abrir-app.html#reply-8106 The 3rd paragraph has the solution for when you can't afford to lose data.

Maybe just a typo, but to avoid misunderstandings: theocbase.sqlite is not in the database, it is the database.

I don't exactly understand how you can't find it. The fourth question from the top in this forum is  'where is the database?'. So you would have to be more specific about your issue.

find the file, removed it, tryed to reinstall saved database but it still ask for password och username.

Or you could find the theocbase.sqlite file and delete it then simply reopen TB. Uninstalling TB does not remove that file, that is why it doesn't help.

But so you wouldn't lose data you have already entered:
