First: The program is perfect. Especially as it is locally installed with password protection for the database. I am not fan of the online programs as the privacy is at risk!
A thing I would reckon isn't too hard for you to add, is another section for public witnessing (carts). In the list of publishers you can mark the ones that are qualified for it, and the history board showing everytime you assign someone would be very useful when planning public witnessing. Just a thought

As has been pointed out before, using a password does protect TheocBase as a programme, but the database file (theocbase.sqlite) is still quite easily readable with a free sqlite editor.

For editing templates I now use https://code.visualstudio.com/
